The past few months have been hectic getting all the idea’s and music together. We have (at last!) sorted out which grades are doing which dances, and rehearsing will start from after half term. Some of you may be wondering why you haven’t seen any of the costume pictures yet? Neither have we! The American Company we use has not issued its latest catalogue yet so time is of the essence. The next information you will receive will be the ‘Parents Information Pack’, which will go out in January, which includes the priority ticket booking form.
All children involved will be measured during the week of 1st - 6th November, then we will collate them all to work out their sizing. If you know your child will be away during this week, notify your teacher who will take them earlier. May me remind all parents (not Septembers new starters), that costumes need to be paid in full by 1st November.
We are in the process of arranging some dates for various dance auditions. These will include the spice girls and a large Irish medley, so watch this space! Our first one however is for the Red shoes which will be held on Thursday 4th November from 6.00 - 7.00pm within the Intermediate ballet class (at All Saints Hall). This is open for grade 6 ballet and above.
Posters for the others will be put on studio doors.
The school had great fun and helped to raise a large donation to go to Cancer research. We would like to thank all the parents for allowing your children to take part.
At the time of going to print there are no changes of venues for the foreseeable future!!
